Gangster wanted in 11 murder cases arrested from Rohtak

He was wanted in 11 murder cases, Two attempt to murder and 20 robbery cases

This gangster had created a lot of terror in the area and was wanted in 11 cases of murder, 2 cases of attempt to murder and 20 cases of robbery and dacoity. The said gangster will be produced before the Court for obtaining police remand so that other cases could also be unveiled.

The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police on Wednesday apprehended a notorious gangster Pawan alias Totla  . He is a sharp shooter and  member of Raju Basaudi and Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Pawan was arrested from village Bohar of district Rohtak. He had emerged as a major challenge for Haryana Police and was wanted in many cases of Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab. Haryana Police had also announced a reward of Rs. 2 lakh on his arrest.

This gangster had created a lot of terror in the area and was wanted in 11 cases of murder, two cases of attempt to murder and 20 cases of robbery and dacoity. The said gangster will be produced before the Court for obtaining police remand so that other cases could also be unveiled.

Pawan had murdered a school bus driver namely Jagbir earlier this year. A case in this regard was registered in Police Station Kundli, Distt. Sonipat and just two days earlier on November 25, 2019, the main witness of this case and son of deceased Jagbir namely Anil was murdered by him in broad daylight.

The spokesperson further told that STF had received a secret and concrete information that gangster Pawan would visit Village Bohar of Distt. Rohtak.

Accordingly a team led by Inspector Sandeep acted instantly and managed to apprehend the said gangster near the flyover on bypass of village Bohar.

This gangster is being interrogated thoroughly by the STF with the objective of obtaining vital information from him regarding various other criminal cases.
