General Elections :Illegal Cash ,drugs woth Rs 2000 cr seized

Gujarat tops the list of state where highest amount of unaccounted cash has been seized

How corrupt is Indian political system can be gauged from the fact that the Election Commission of India has seized illegal (unaccounted) cash,liquor, drugs and gifts worth over Rs 2000 crore from various parts of the country.

The seizures clearly speak that the world’s largest democracy is neck deep in corruption. The corrupt politicians openly bribe and influence the voters. The seized money,drugs,liquor and gifts were meant to be distributed among the voters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state Gujarat tops the list of state where highest amount of unaccounted cash has been seized.Total seizures in Gujarat including unaccounted cash has been valued around Rs 514 crore.Tamil Nadu with over Rs 468 Cr, New Delhi with over Rs 384 Crore , Andhra Pradesh with Rs 196 crore are at number two,three and fourth place respectively.

Interestingly,while the investigating agencies did not name any BJP leader or party during the seizures,Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath was openly named when cash worth Rs 281 crore was recovered at various places including Madhya Pradesh.
