J&K NH remains closed following heavy rainThe 300-km Jammu-Srinagar-Jammu national highway continued to remain closed for the fourth consecutive day today following heavy rain and snowfall in the area.

A portion of a hill collapsed at Kheri, Udhampur due to incessant rains thereby blocking the Highway.

The overnight rains have resulted in fresh landslides in Ramban area thereby forcing the authorities to suspend the traffic on the highway for the fourth day today.

According to IGP, traffic BRO men and machinery are working on war footing to clear the landslides and throw open the highway for one way traffic. The vehicular traffic on Jammu-Doda-Kishtwar road also continues to remain closed for the fourth day due to landslide at Kheri in Udhampur district.
