Kangra Central Co-operative Bank to recruit 500 employees
There is a good news for the state’s unemployed people or those who are looking for a banking career.The Kangra Central Co-Operative Bank Limited (KCCB) has announced to open 25 new branches in various parts of the state which will create more than 500 vacancies.
KCCB chairman, Jagdish Singh Sipahiya told North India Times that the bank has already started the process to recruit a workforce of over 500 people.
Sipahiya said that the board of directors has approved the recruitment drive . The case has been sent to the Registrar,Co-operatives for approval and the the process will start as soon as the permission is granted. He said that the bank has already opened 12 branches and will open 25 new branches soon .The vacancies include bank clerks,branch managers and other ministerial staff.
KCCB on Saturday signed a MoU with Sonalika International which makes Sonalika brand of Tractor. Sonalika Tractors is the sixth brand to be associated with the bank.The bank will provide tractors at affordable rates to its customers. The company is offering an inaugural discount of Rs 6000 to the Kangra bank customers.
KCCBL bank has earned a big name in the region .The deposits which were Rs 5982 crore in the financial year 2012-13 touched a Rs 66614 Crore in March 2014.
Kangra Co-Operative Bank is a co-operative bank with a difference. All the branches of the bank remain open for six days a week with full day banking service on Saturday. For the convenience of its customers it is having agency arrangement with HDFC Bank which enables the bank to issue Demand Drafts on HDFC branches across the country, to arrange collection of out-station cheques within a week or ten days.
Besides Himamchal, Kangra Co-Operative Bank also has branches in New Delhi.
