Bhojpuri film star turned politician Manoj Tiwari has been appointed as President of Delhi BJP.
Delhi BJP leaders and workers accorded a grand welcome to MP Manoj Tiwari on his appointment as the President of BJP Delhi Pradesh at the Party Office on Wednesday.
The outgoing President Satish Upadhyay handed over the charge of the post to Manoj Tiwari in a function organized at the Pradesh Office.
Addressing the workers, newly appointed Pradesh President Manoj Tiwari expressed his gratitude to the National President Amit Shah for giving him this responsibility and Prime Minister Naender Modi for his affection and blessings.
Tiwari said that this new responsibility of the organization is an opportunity to serve the people of Delhi and to give a new look to the party. He said that I hope the honest & hardworking workers of Delhi BJP will be great help in fighting against the ruling party which has come to power in Delhi State by making false promises to the people.
“I will always work for the betterment of Delhi with the resolve Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Ullas. For me Delhi is not a battle field but my place of work. I stand committed to Delhi and for the development of the poor people of Delhi. We shall win the forthcoming Corporation Elections but before that we will win the hearts of the people of Delhi,” Tiwari said.
Addressing the workers he said that I believe in collective leadership and in my view the BJP workers are capable of accepting challenges. There is no problem that cannot be solved, we just require a strong resolve.
Tiwari further said that Delhi is Mini India, people from all over the country are living here, we have to connect with them. We have to co-operate with illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi in his campaign to end corruption in the country and bring total development.
Felicitating the newly appointed Pradesh President in the beginning of the programme, the outgoing President Satish Upadhyay said that organizations are always subject to change and change gives opportunity for its expansion.
