Modi and Shah are afraid of me: Surjewala

Amit Shah seems to have forgotten that Kurukshetra is the sacred land. The Congress’s Pandavas will defeat the Kauravas of BJP and their conspiracies and ill designs will not work here

“We have always strongly opposed the anti-people & wrong policies of BJP and that was the reason that the Sultan of Delhi and the rulers of Haryana are afraid of Kaithal’s voice. It is the sole reason why Randeep is always on top of their minds“, said senior Congress leader & Kaithal candidate Randeep Singh Surjewala while addressing a public meeting in Malkhedi in Kaithal assembly segment today.

Responding to the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Kaithal public meeting, Surjewala said that there are seven and a half thousand MLAs in the country but only Kaithal’s son is a cause of concern for them.

Surjewala said that “BJP’s top leadership is afraid because we have always raised people’s issues. When the saint Ravidas ji’s historic temple in Delhi was broken, I protested; when Maharishi Valmiki ji’s temple in Lucknow was broken, I strongly opposed that; when the farmers and young men are targeted with hefty traffic challans of as high as Rs 40,000, I protested; when electricity is not provided and big bills are charged, I opposed that; I protested when farmers were not given fair prices, it is the reason they are afraid”.
