PM Modi, Rahul to launch poll campaign for Chhattisgarh Assembly
Campaigning for the first phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh will end tomorrow evening
Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the election rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhiin Chhattisgarh.
Both the leaders will address public meetings in Maoist affected tribal Bastar division onFriday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the election rally at Jagdalpur, the divisional headquarters of Bastar.
While Congress President Rahul Gandhi will hold three rallies in various constituencies of Kanker and Rajnandgaon districts.
He would also release the Election Manifesto of Congress during the public meeting at Dongargarh.
Meanwhile, Campaigning for the first phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh will end tomorrow evening.
Out of the 18 constituencies which are going for polls in the first phase on November 12, six are in Rajnandgaon district and 12 are in Bastar division.
Most of these constituencies are affected by left-wing extremism.
