flags belong to Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) ,a Kerala based political party.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s supporters are sharing a video on social media in which green flags -similar to Pakistan flags -are being waived among the Congress flags during a Roadshow organised on Thursday when Rahul Gandhi filed his nomination for Lok Sabha elections from Wayanad constituency.
The green flags seen in the video has a logo similar to Pakistan’s national Emblem in which a moon and star is seen.
The investigation done by the North India Times revealed that the flags belong to Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) ,a Kerala based political party.
What created the confusion about the flag is that the short name of IUML was missing in almost all flags.
Claiming the IUML flags to be the Pakistan’s national flag,Narendra Modi supporters warned the voters not to support Congress which was allegedly hobnobbing with anti- nationals .
The Congress in its manifesto by promising that it will repeal the sedition law if it comes to the power has already kicked off a controversy.
The Cingress manifesto has given rise to the speculations that if the party is voted to the power the Anti National elements will raise their heads again.
