Delhi government has set up ten skill development centres in night shelters in the national capital. Skill training related to sewing, beauty culture, plumbing, electrical work and simple cooking will be provided to homeless people in these centres.
Lieutenant governor Anil Baijal and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today jointly inaugurated the skill development centres.
Speaking on the occasion Baijal said it is a good initiative. He also said, that Delhi government should emphasise on credibility of training programme so that people, who are trained could get employment.
