Sonia Gandhi,Sunil Jakhar summoned in illegal construction case

Local Court asked the leaders to appear before it on September 6

The Congress leaders are accused of constructing party’s regional office by remooving Guru Nanak Dev Hall and Central library located in the civil lines club.

A Bathinda ,Punjab court has summoned Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi and Punjab President Sunil Jakhar in an illegal construction case registered in Bhatinda.

A total 12 persons including Sonia Gandhi and Sunil Jakhar have been summoned and have been asked to appear on September 6.

The court while admitting the petition of two Bhatinda residents Jagjit Singh Dhaliwal and Shivdev Singh has issued summons to both the Congress leaders.

The Congress leaders are accused of constructing party’s regional office by dismantling Guru Nanak Dev Hall and  library located in the civil lines club.
