Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said, when his party will come to power in New Delhi, he will rationalise the Value Added Tax (VAT) by reducing it on goods.
Addressing a fund raiser lunch programme in New Delhi, he said this will help both the consumers and traders.
Outlining the party’s vision, Kejriwal said that his party will propose to make the national capital a trading powerhouse by creating a traders friendly environment.
The Aam Aadmi Party said that it has received more than 50 lakh rupees from fund-raising lunch programme. The event was organised by the traders wing of his party and 20 thousand rupees were charged per plate for the lunch.
