In Assam, security agencies are questioning Sujina Begum in connection with the Burdwan blast and other anti-national jehadi activities. NIA officials told AIR that she obtained anti-national training in madrasa’s of West Bengal. Our correspondent reports, she will be produced before a court today.
Senior Assam police officials said that Sujina Begum was involved in providing training to girls in riverine areas of the state. She is also suspected to have been involved in mobilization of funds for a banned Bangladeshi outfit in Assam.
With the arrest of Sujina, security agencies are now expecting to get idea clues on whereabouts of her absconding husband Sahanur Alom, against whom the NIA had announced reward following Burdwan blast.
