Congress may benefit from Modi’s tough decisions
Congress may benefit from prime minister Narendra Modi‘s tough decisions like rail fare or gas prices by projecting his government as anti-people.
The impact of Modi’s tough decisions will be reflected in the results of Haryana assembly polls which are scheduled to be held in October this year.
Facing a decade’s local anti-incumbency, Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday asked the people to analyze Modi’s election campaign catch line ‘Achhe din aane wale hain ’ (good days ahead) .
“Can these days be termed as ‘Achhe din’ when diesel and sugar prices have been increased and the train journey has also become dearer ?” asked Hooda.
Haryana chief minister said that the Modi government has also planned to enhance the rates of LPG gas cylinder by Rupees ten every month but the decision will be implemented after three months when the assembly elections in Haryana are over.
“BJP has never been well wisher of farmers and labourers and now also it does not have any policy for welfare of the poor,” Hooda said.
Common people are concerned about their budget and pocket and have knowledge about the fiscal deficit . The Congress by exploiting the strong measures taken by Modi may create anti-BJP wave.
