The Palwal district administration clamped an indefinite curfew in Hathin town today after a clash between two communities over a religious place. School and colleges have been closed for the next two days and all officials were directed not to leave their Station.
Companies of paramilitary forces and local police are keeping a watch on the situation. A police spokesman said, the situation was under control and section 144 have been put in force to avoid any untoward incident.
Curfew was clamped in the same area last month also on October 6.
