The draw of lots for Delhi Development Authority successfully completed on Tuesday. People can see their result on the DDA website (dda.gov.in). Over 10 lakh people had applied for the scheme which offered over 25,000 flats across various categories in different parts of the city.
Talking to reporters after the draw, Vice Chairman of DDA, Balvinder Kumar said, this is the first time that draw was held under the supervision of a retired judge of Delhi High Court and an IIT Professor of Delhi, to make the process transparent.
He said, lucky candidates are required to submit the whole payment within one year. Kumar said, the deposit money of the unsuccessful candidates will be returned to their accounts within one month.
