Deccan Airways keen to launch flights in Himachal

India’s first low cost carrier, Deccan Airways  Limited is keen to launch its services in Himachal Pradesh.

Chairman and Managing Director, Deccan Airways,Captain Gopinath, on Friday met chief minister,Virbhadra Singh
in Bangaluru.

“Deccan Airways has offered to start flights to Shimla, Kullu and Dharamsala (Kangra) from Delhi and Chandigarh.The chief minister has asked the airline to submit its proposal,” a Himachal government spokesperson said.

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh and his cabinet colleague Mukesh Agnihotri besides the leading bureaucrats is camping in South India to  attract investments.
