Four maoists killed in Chhattisgarh

Security forces have gunned down four Maoists in an encounter which took place in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.

A joint team of District Reserve Guard- DRG and Special Task Force- STF was on a search operation in Kukdajhor area of Narayanpur district in Bastar division.

Maoists ambushed the security forces and opened indiscriminate fire in the forest of Gumiyabeda. Security forces retaliated the fire. In this gun battle, four Maoists, including one woman rebel, were killed.

Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla said, the bodies of four Naxals and weapons were found at the spot.
