General V.K. Singh ‘outraged’ at letter to PM being leaked
New Delhi: An “outraged” army chief General V.K. Singh Thursday rejected allegations of having leaked a letter written by him to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the shortage of arms and ammunition in the forces.
A statement by the army chief Thursday morning said he was “outraged” that the letter had been leaked. He said the leak should be treated as a “high treason” and added that the source of the leak should be found and punished.
