HC issues notice to makers of PK
The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the makers of the film ‘PK’ on a novelist’s plea alleging plagiarisation of his book. Justice Najmi Waziri asked the film makers to appear before the High Court on April 16th for recording of evidence.
The court’s notice came on a plea by the novelist who alleged that the film-makers stole the characters, expression of ideas and scenes from the novel. He has sought punitive damages of one crore rupees along with credit for his work.
