In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police arrested the Chief of Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) Harminder Singh Mintoo and his keys ally Gurpreet Singh Gopi Friday evening. The KLF Chief was wanted in 10 terror related offences, while his aide Gurpreet Singh Gopi was wanted in a conspiracy to kill some Hindu leaders in 2013.
Punjab Police traced and located them in Thailand, in coordination with central agencies and brought them back with the help of Thai authorities. Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence Wing, Hardeep Singh Dhillon said that Harminder Singh Mintoo was trained by Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and was in regular touch with his handler to carry out terrorist strikes in India.
AIR Jalandhar correspondent reports that Punjab Police had on Thursday arrested Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) terrorist Rattandeep Singh Goldy and in September succeeded in arresting Bhindranwale Tiger Force of Khalistan (BTFK) Chief Rattandeep Singh.
