Anushka Sharma doesn’t shy away from doing multi-starrers or small yet meaningful role in a big film.

Anushka has been and is part of multiple heroine projects like Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl , Jab Tak Hai Jaan , Dil Dhadakne Do , Ae
Dil Hai Mushkil . While Ladies starred Parineeti Chopra alongside, Jab Tak Hai jaan had Katrina Kaif to accompany her. And now in two of her upcoming biggies Dil Dhadakne Do and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka will be seen sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan respectively.

But we wonder what makes her so secure? Anushka says, “It’s the way in which you are looking at things. But, for me I am doing a film. Priyanka has bigger role than me in the film in terms of the length. But that is not important because the role that I have is kick-ass and amazing,” and she adds further, “In fact, Zoya was so scared before calling me that she believed and was almost convinced in her mind that I’m going to say no. However, Farhan and Ritesh, the producers, asked her to still try. When I came back from Srilanka, she narrated me the script and I was like why were you even scared? I assured her that I am going to do this film.”

“I don’t see things like ki Priyanka ka kitna role hai, woh mujse jyaada modern lagegi film kya? Seriously, this is all headache. Look at the west; you will have topnotch actresses like Amy Admas and Jennifer Lawrence in the same film. We are creative people and it’s up to us how we want to do our work. I have the choice and means to direct my career and to create my path. I chose to that way,” she continues in the same vein comparing with the west.

Further, talking about her lately announced venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil , which is being helmed by Karan Johar, Anushka says, “I am in the lead in Karan’s film and it’s not a triangle anyway. But even if it was a second lead or a side role, I would still do it, as the film is really good.”

Meanwhile, Anushka is busy gearing up for her biggest film of the year PK, starring Aamir Khan alongside, that releases on December 19, 2014.
