Rains cripples normal life in Himachal
In Himachal Pradesh, the continuous rain has crippled the normal life. According to met department this current spell of rain would continue till 18th July however it would weaken during next two days.
Kangra District administration has sounded high alert in the Pong Dam area after increasing level of the Dam due to rain.
No let up in the continue rain since past three days is now becoming a cause of concern as the people in interior areas of this hill state are facing lot of difficulties.
Hundreds of roads have been blocked due to landslides and people have to walk miles to reach their destination.
Landslides and boulders at Nehrukund and Rahaninala disrupted vehicular traffic on Manali-Leh highway while Traffic on Theog-Hatkoti road in Shimla District remained off for nearly six hours in the day. In Sirmour District Poanta Sahib town recorded highest rainfall of about 200 Millimetre in past 24 hours.
