Stop violations to resume talks, India tells PAK

Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh has ruled out talks with Pakistan, as long as bullets continue to fly from across the border.

Addressing a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram today,he said the onus is on Pakistan to create a conducive atmosphere for dialogue.

He disclosed that six new Sainik Schools will be opened, three in Uttar Pradesh, two in Rajasthan and one in Uttarkhand. Government aims to strengthen Sainik Schools to bridge the shortage of around ten thousand trained officers in the three services, Army, Navy and Air Force,he said.At present,there are 25 Sainik Schools in the country.He said Sainik school curriculum will be fine-tuned to suit the changing requirements of the forces.

Earlier,he inaugurated the 44th All India Conference of Sainik School Principals at Kazhakootam Sainik School on the outskirts of the city.He lauded the contribution of the Sainik Schools in providing public school education at affordable cost to the children of common man.
