Two people were killed and 35 others were injured-some of them seriously-when the Himachal Roadways bus in which they were travelling in veered off the road and fell into a 100 ft deep gorge on Sunday in Bharwai, Chintpurni ,Himachal Pradesh.
The condition of five out of 35 passengers is serius and they have been referred to PGI Chandigarh . Others have been admitted to Amb,Una and Chintpurni hospitals.
Eyewitnesses said the bus driver had an altercation with a tempo driver after the bus hit the parked vehicle.
The accused tempo driver dragged the bus driver and the bus slipped to neutral mode and skidded off the road.
The tempo driver is on the run after the accident.
