We will make Haryana a model state :Hooda
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder singh Hooda appealed to the people to take part in the voting in large numbers. He said voting is the right of the people and everyone should use it in a peaceful manner.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the Congress policy has always seen to promote development and after coming to power for the third time in the state the pace of development will be speeded up.
He said it was because of the support of the people in the last 10 years that he could take Haryana to the forefront among all states in progress and development. He said we are bound to never let the pace of development slow down. The speed with which the state has developed will be further improved.. New job opportunities for the youth will be created and steps would be taken for the rise and development of all the classes of people.
The Chief Minister said in the last 10 years he tried to create goodwill, brotherhood and peace among the people. Because of the support of the people he was successful in his mission. Among the bigger states Haryana is number one in the country. Development works were done for the progress of all classes of people in the last one decade. He said it his prime objective now to make Haryana a model state in the country.
Haryana is the first state where the aged people, widows and physically challenged were getting Rs 1000 per month pension. The state government has already taken a decision to hike this amount to Rs 1500 per month from November 1, 2014. When the Congress forms the government in the state for the third time this amount will be further increase. Besides the Haryana police department, employees of all other departments, Boards and Corporations of the state government will be given pay scale and pension similar to the Punjab government.
