Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday urged the elected representatives of the state and the bureaucrats that welfare of the people should be ultimate aim of all their work.
Khattar while presiding over the first meeting with Administrative Secretaries and Head of the Departments , said that apart from politicians, bureaucrats also share the equal responsibility to run the government. He said that all the officers should perform their duties with utmost dedication in the interest of people of the state.
Khattar said that it was our joint responsibility to work for the welfare of the people. He also appreciated the officers for peaceful conduct of recently held elections of the state assembly. All nine new Ministers were also present in the meeting.
Earlier while welcoming the Chief Minister and Ministers, the Chief Secretary Shakuntala Jakhu said that state has a competent team of officers who would work to realize the motto ‘Minimum Government-Maximum Governance’ of Prime Minister Narender Modi. She assured that all the officers under the able guidance of Chief Minister would implement the schemes with the same spirit with which they have been launched.
All the Administrative Secretaries, Head of Departments and senior police officers apprised the Chief Minister about the departments headed by them in the meeting.
